    How to play

    • Be first to play all 13 cards.
    • Card order: 3 lowest, then 4 … K, A, and 2 highest. Suits: ♦ lowest, ♣, ♥, ♠ highest.
    • Whoever holds 3♦ starts and must include it.
    • With 2 or 3 players, cards are still dealt to all four seats. Empty seats are skipped and their cards are out of play, so if 3♦ is out of play the lowest card in play starts instead.
    • Play a single, a pair, a triple or a five-card hand. The next player must beat it with the same number of cards, or pass.
    • Five-card hands, weakest to strongest: straight, flush, full house, four of a kind (plus any card), straight flush.
    • Straights run A-2-3-4-5 (lowest) up to 10-J-Q-K-A (highest). J-Q-K-A-2 is not allowed.
    • When three players pass in a row, the last player to play leads anything.
    • 2♠ is the biggest card. Play it as a single and nobody can beat it, so you lead again straight away.
    • Scoring: when someone goes out, everyone else collects 1 point per card left, doubled with 8–12 cards, tripled with all 13. Points add up round after round, and the lowest total is winning (★).
    • You have 60 seconds per turn; after that the move is played for you.
